I am extremely pleased with the PurePrecision pour-over coffee brewer. We have had 2 or 3 of the Cuisinart auto-brew coffee pots and appreciated the flavor and convenience. The electronics in the last one were fading, after about 7 years of use, so I looked for replacements. The PurePrecision looks stylish, takes up a reasonable amount of space on the counter (less than most alternatives), and makes superior coffee. The basic setting of Medium strength and Hot temp has been perfect. The size of the carafe is great for us, as I never needed 10 to 12 cups. It is easy to clean.

I have tried a number of drip coffee makers over the years (including all Cuisinart models) and have have all been good, functional machines. But I have found that this pour over machine easily produces the most flavor of any drip machine I have used. I was initially concerned that the eight cup carafe was too small but as the only coffee drinker in the house I have found it to be just fine and I wonder if the tapered design helps to keep the coffee's flavor? The only drawback is the there is an automatic shutoff after two hours with no adjustment to lengthen to three or four hours like other models. It's just a convenient setting the other models have. A small nitpick. I really like the look and performance.

Makes good coffee but a bit tall for countertops. With the lid open (to let it dry out) the upper cabinet door cannot be opened. Also, there are two separate lids, one for coffee, one for the water. That's OK but they cannot be opened at the same time to let both insides dry. The inside of the basket for the coffee filter basket has a particular slot that is not convenient; the basket cannot just be dropped in. The coffee filter basket must be positioned just right for the lid to close properly.

We always enjoy a good cup of coffee. However, when traveling we are usually "stuck" with drip coffee. Recently we spend five days at an air bng which had the Cuisinart Pour-Over Brewer. We were so pleased to actually have very good coffee each morning. Consequently when we returned home we simply had to buy one. Pour-over coffee is good, but challenging when there is a group of coffee drinkers. The brewer takes care of the problem. We are very happy with our selection.
