Casio Casiotone, 61-Key Portable Keyboard (CT-S100)

My keyboard arrived a day earlier than expected. The box had a small depression on an edge but the keyboard was fine. The sound coming from the speakers is very good and will go louder than I would play in my small room. The keys are a little more springy than I expected but I have gotten used to them. I think this is a very good keyboard for the money

This is an awesome lap sitting 61 key digital keyboard that is just an all around pleasure to play. In the package comes the keyboard, a music holder, power cord, and instructions. The keyboard comes pre programmed with 122 built in tones (songs) and 61 rhythms. The design of the keyboard itself is nice with a carrying handle on top for easy transportation, and the lightweight durable construction that does not bother me when I use it on my lap without a stand is nice. The looks are an all-black modern looking design (except the keys and some of the function buttons) that has nice lines and is really pleasing to look at. The sound is amazing as well and with the built-in speakers it gets so loud that I only keep the volume about halfway up. It uses a Micro-B USB to connect to other devices and is used for MIDI communication. The keyboard can run off the provided power supply or 6 AA batteries. Overall, this is a very nice keyboard that I really do enjoy playing and I know I will use well into the future. And if my son does not get bored with keeping me off mine I will be purchasing another one for him.

This keyboard is so perfect. So many great features and it has a headphone jack so I do not drive my family crazy. It also gives my kids the courage to practice without being embarrassed on trying to learn how to play. With all the videos online today, anyone can learn. Very simple keys and presets to help you get started. Runs on double a batteries or a dc adapter which is included. Has a micro b USB port to connect to other devices. Has a great handle so getting it around is very simple. An instrument the whole family can enjoy and entertain others with daily.

My youngest is in love with this keyboard. She even took it to a fiends house for a sleep over and now they are starting a band. It takes a batteries or it can be plugged in. The best part is the headphone Jack so that I don't have to hear the noise. Band practice will be at her friends house. Sorry to the friends parents. Lol

This is a very nice Casio keyboard for a beginner. It has 61 full size piano keys and a lot of cool features. The keys don't feel the same as big piano keys when pressing, but really close. It also has built in speakers, an audio jack if you want to plug in your headphones not to disturb anyone around. It is very lightweight and has a convenient carrying handle. It has ac adapter to plug in the wall, but it can also run on 6 AA batteries. The keyboard also comes with a Musial rest to lay your notes. There are 5 ways the piano can sound - piano, e-piano, organ, harpsichord and strings. It also has volume buttons for quiet or loud playing. Another cool thing is that you can connect your keyboard to the computer through usb and discover a whole new world of possibilities. I think it is a pretty cool and entertaining thing for kids and adults and I would definitely recommend it.
