26" Huffy Women's Champion Cruiser Bike

I have been wanting a cruiser still bike forever and when I saw this one online I fell in love! I saw the bad reviews but they didn't deter me from buying this bicycle because those reviews are YEARS OLD, so I assumed surely Huffy would have made improvements by now. But if not, I knew my fiance could fix anything that got damaged in shipping and I was okay with going to the hardware store to buy any bolts or parts that may have been missing. So I knew what I was getting into. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. My sweet, patient fiance put it together, it took a little over an hour. There were NO missing pieces at all, nor were any of the pieces damaged. My only complaint about this bike is how heavy it is. It feels like it weighs more than me when I try to pick it up. But I guess that's a good thing, it won't bend or dent easily. And it's also A LOT bigger than I was expecting. I'm 5'5" and all legs and I can just barely reach the ground when on it, so I would strongly recommend anyone shorter than that not buying this because the seat cannot be lowered without removing the back cargo carrier. (which would take away the cuteness!) But all in all, I LOVE this bike! Very happy with my purchase! I've included some pictures below so you can see how adorable the bike is in person. FYI that blue-black-and-gray cargo bag over the back tire DID NOT come with the bike. I purchased that separately. You can get it here on Walmart.com or on eBay.

This bike gets me from A to B faster than taking public transportation. Not only does it look gorgeous, it rides smooth and helps a lot with my grocery shopping. So happy with this purchase, love the style, color, etc.

The bike is an beautiful color and very comfortable to ride. The basket/cooler on the front holds a good amount and the cup holder is very handy! I had a horrible time with shipping and getting a bike that I could actually ride. I had the bike shipped to my house since it was free shipping, the first bike arrived with a tore apart box, missing parts, and the frame of the bike was scratched, so this bike was sent back. Bike number two arrived in much better condition but after being put together, I noticed while riding that it had a bent rim. Bike number 3 is on its way. Sadly, this has been more of a headache than I expected.

I ordered this bike and some others for our vacation home in the desert. When it arrived I was really excited as the color of the bike is beautiful. I set about to put the bike together and as others have complained, I noticed lots of pieces missing. After I put together what I could I also noticed that there were three noticeable dents on the back fender. The seat wiggles and as others have mentioned, none of the nuts and bolts were in packages, they were attached to the bike. Some were attached so tightly that I could not even get them out despite having purchased all of the tools I was told I would need in the owner's manual. The manual itself was incredibly vague and the pictures so small and cluttered it was hard to tell what went where. I looked on line for U tubes and found none for this specific bike so I went to Huffy and clicked on The Catalina Champion Cruiser. There was a section called assembly which wasn't even for my bike. I am going to take the bike back to Walmart and ask them to replace it. The unfortunate part is that they are out of stock and it has cost me a lot of time and energy to work on a beautiful bike that could have received five stars had it not been for the manufacturer's neglect.
