Monday―Spelling practice begins with students tracing and spelling the words. Next, they write the words. Then they cover and spell the words from memory. Finally, they check their work to see if they spelled the words correctly. · Tuesday―Students practice spelling this week’s words by completing a variety of visual memory activities. Wednesday―Students start the day’s lesson by completing word meaning activities. Next, the teacher reads aloud sentences that feature this weekly spelling words and students listen and write each sentence. Thursday―Students complete word study activities in a variety of formats. Friday―Spelling test Fridays are always a favorite!
