Sorry to say--it fell apart in my hands and I couldn't get the "collar"to re-thread. I returned it. This WAS NOT Walmart's fault!! They are GREAT on returns!!

I got the post promptly from Walmart. I put it on my bike and took it for a ride and the shock didn't work at all. From what another reviewer wrote I guess your seat has to be positioned directly above post. I have my seat slid back on the rails a little ways because I needed to be away from the handle bars a bit farther being a tall guy . Also it's easier to pedal that way so for me this was kind of a waste,, should have just got a regular seat post. It seems like it's built well and everything else so for someone that doesn't need to adjust the seat at all it might be fine.

The spring is not adjustable. Very hard on the ride. Wouldn't recommend it.

Works okay. Seat mount is sturdy and adjustable. Not the smothest travel though. Weight of rider needs to be centered over post for proper travel, which isn't always the correct placement for taller riders. There is a little side to side movement at nose of seat, but not enough to cause any problems for casual riders.
