SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Brightening Body Lotion, 16 oz

I'm not allergic to anything, but this lotion made me feel itchy. I was using this for about a month because I love the smell and the moisturizing aspect of it but as time when on, my itchy skin got worse. There was not lumps or rashes and my skin looked normal and when I used rubbing alcohol, the itchiness went away for about an hour. I stopped using it and within a two weeks, the itchiness was gone. Overall, the fragrance was pleasing and the lotion itself was a good consistency and moisturizing. The rest of my family didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. It was probably the mushroom that my skin didn't like.

I am in love with Shea Moisture products! My first purchase was quite by accident....I was looking for a good bar soap to take on a cruise so I wouldn't have to worry about the 3oz issue in flying, so I found their soap and loved the fragrance. After a 7 day cruise, my skin felt amazing!! So I purchased their body lotion, and my skin has never felt better. For the first time in years, and I mean years, I love the way my skin feels!! I am soo in love with them, that today I purchased 2 more bottles and was running around my job giving everyone a sample!! Try it, you will not regret it!!!!!

I took time out of a busy schedule to write this review which I never do - this product is one of the best on the market - makes my skin glow and I love the smell and consistency. I get many compliments on the scent. However, the bottle is so hard that you cannot squeeze it coupled with the very thick lotion that does not flow. For a while I was able to use a skewer to scoop it out, but that grew tiresome quickly. Finally I had to saw the bottle in half so that I could reach in and use the product. Not very sanitary and I should not have to do that. Please fix this problem. Until then I will just use the Body Butter.

Great lotion, but the bottles are so cheaply made that they crack when you try to squeeze them and the product is too thick to ever come out. I've tried tapping, slamming, squeezing, using a butter knife, but it's almost like the old ketchup issue. So you may pay for a certain amount of lotion, but you will only ever get to use a tiny fraction of it. I threw mine out which is a shame because I loved the lotion.

I've always loved this lotion and hated that it was so difficult to get out of the bottle but now there's a pump so that is no longer a problem!!! Same amazing smell and my skin is always glowing after words and remains super moisturized. Thanks shea moisture!
