Bought this under 2 months ago. I love it and don't want to pack it up for repair. Luck of the draw I guess with a leak. As stated there is a 6 month warranty on the liner. 1 on the pump. I also bought a 4 year one from Wal-Mart. Being inflatable I wasn't taking chances. I have a family party in 2 weeks. Not enough time to send it out and get it back. We will try the soapy water spray to find it and patch it for now. So the jets! How many?? NONE! It has a channel that runs 3/4s the way around with 50 or so holes that create your bubbles. I do recommend Intex weighted adjustable height chairs. No on the inflatable neck rest. Yes on the twin cup holder. Buy a $1 square minnow net to scoop pine needles etc. We bought all sorts of oils. Jasmine or citrus are nice. Have hand towels handy. I use an oscillating fan if it's too steamy. I also have a large mosquito canopy. Filters are very easy to change. Set up was really easy. It does take 24 hours or so to heat up. Plan ahead if you're using at a certain time. 2-3 degrees an hour. Most Wal-Mart's have spa chemicals year round. We also got the stairs with storage. It says do not store chemicals due tok liability. Never mix liquid and dry. We got the underwater lights for around $10...not really needed. We used them once. Even with the air leak I am giving it 5 stars due to easy of use. Value for the money. Customer service. And plus...its CAMO!
There have been quite a few who have asked whether this can be put indoors. I put mine in a bedroom with laminated flooring which is as challenging as you can get. I do not run the bubbler as I suspect that would be too much. The tub with just heat beats aspirin, ibuprofen, or any other NSAID. My setup cost less than $500. Here's what I did. First I laid a tarp on the floor going to the bathroom so I don't get water on the floor as I leave the tub. Next I installed a $20 8' wading pool which has enough capacity if the tub ever springs a leak and gives me a place to shake off when I get out of the pool. Inside the wading pool, I installed the hot tub. I also bought a dehumidifier for the room and a humidity meter. The dehumidifier is probably overkill since the humidity in the room hasn't been any higher than before. My only problem with this system has been the cover air fill cap got loose and the cover deflated. They say not to use a compressor to fill it but once you fill the tub there is no way use the blower without draining the pool. I bought a 1/2" to 1/4" adapter and a clamp and used my small compressor. No problem.
So far sooo great! We have only had this spa for about a week now and we have really enjoyed soaking in it. My husband and my son set it up in about 45 minutes outside near the back patio but we soon had to move it to the garage because the weather was about to get really cold. After having it in the garage for a couple of days we think that it's even better and more convenient in that location at least for the remainder of the winter. The materials that it's made out of seem very sturdy. We owned a large hard shell spa for many years that was great, but in many ways this one has many of the same features and for a much smaller price tag. Took the advice of another reviewer and bought two 8x4 sheets of housing insulation and cut them to a 71 1/2 in circle and wrapped the raw edges in duck tape. (YouTube) This makes a great pad for the spa to sit on. I am thinking of repeating a smaller version of it for the top of the spa so I don't have to take the spa cover off and on all the time which can be cumbersome and is a bit of a pain. Negative: The only negative that we can come up with is that the instruction booklet has numbered pictures but should also have written explanations that correspond to those pictures/numbers. This could save time and bad words when assembling for the first time. All in all though, the end product when all the cussing is over is pretty sweet! A
We bought this spa to replace one that we had. This one is by far, better than the other one. It is just my husband and I, so it is just the right size. It says that it will fit 4 people, but they would have to be small people. It is very quiet, and depending on the outside temperature, does not take long to heat. The inside is a mosaic design, which is very cool. The ouside is covered in a nylon type fabric, so not as easy to get holes as the solid plastic ones. The only dtaw back I have seen, is the bottom is a little slick at first when you get in. We really love using it after a hard day. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive way to buy a spa.
This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I know the reviews complained that it doesn't stay at 104° once you turn the jets on. However if it stayed at 104°, I would not be able to stay in it for more than 10 minutes. As the temperature very gradually decreases, I am able to stay in it for a longer length of time, therefore enjoying it for a longer length of time. I have my spa set up in my living room. Crazy, right? I know!! I have it sitting on two layers of 1 inch foam insulation , an area rug on top of that. I had it set up for about two weeks now. No leaks at all. The only thing I would recommend is if you put it on a floor that you don't want to get wet, place towels around the edge of it to catch the spray from the Jets. As far as the directions go, the only complaint I had was the instructions were very ambiguous. It makes it look like you inflate the bottom of the pool. In actuality it's not the bottom of the spa that gets inflated . It is the round inflatable top of the spa. I read a lot of reviews on almost every portable spa out there before I purchased this spa. Most of the reviews had a lot of pros and cons. This particular spa did not have any major cons. If any develop, I will post it later. But so far, I am very satisfied!
