When I first tried this, I was hoping it would give me real results and it did. I was surprised that my nails got much stronger and grew longer. I could see and feel a faint difference in my face, a softening of lines. And I hadn't expected any results in my hair, but my hair actually grows longer now. I buy this brand all the time. I chew them and it doesn't have a bad taste at all. They seem to be working for me. I take them every day. My hair is shinny and my nails do not break anymore. And the quality is just as good as the more expensive brands I have tried.

I got a terrible stomach ache when I took these, like bloating and sharp pains. I read up on it and it does seem to affect some people that way, so it would be a good idea to read up a little before you try them. They are supposed to be good for you but they don't work for me!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING A PILL CUTTER BEFORE TAKING THESE PILLS. They are ridiculously HUGE! I wind up in the ER. After the pill being stuck in my throat for over an hour. With sticking my finger down my throat, gagging, vomiting, drinking two bottles of Spring Water (room temperature), being so full of fluids my body naturally caused me to vomit. We had to call the paramedics. Dr. gave me Meds to numb my throat. Needless to say PLEASE be very careful with taking these pills. I don't know why Spring Valley would create such a huge pill. Don't they know how narrow the esophagus is?? They will be going in the garbage. Not worth the risk of losing your life choking to death...

Wow these are huge "horse size pills" and they are not scored so that you could cut them in half. Wish I had known they were this big I would have looked for something else. It would be very very helpful if the manufacturers would show a photo on them next to another pill (maybe like a typical coated aspirin) to give some idea of the size. Can't say if they work or not as I have not had them very long.
