Motorola W409g - Feature phone - microSD slot - LCD display - rear camera 2 MP - NET10

This phone doesn't work in my area, been trying to return for 4 days. Walmart.com sold to me but has to be returned tosomeone else. Can't seem to get the right info to return. Be aware before buying

I bought this product a year ago after 1 week the screen went blank. i was still able to receive and make calls. after my minutes were up i gave this product another try, big mistake. the screen did it again, this time after 6 months. so i would not recommend this phone at all unless you want to replace it in the future.

The W409G is the worst phone I have had from Net 10, all my other phones from them worked fine but this one wont call or receive from one friends house, all my other phones did (3) but this one won't, I called Net 10 and had them test it, tried switching towers and was told I need a replacement, it was very hard to get to a live operator and even harder to get a replacement, when you buy a phone from Wal-Mart you have only a few days to return it, I did not know this and waited till I could test it at a few places to see if it worked ok, it was a while before I could test it at my friends house and when I did and could not call from there I had to use my friends phone to call Net 10 to test the phone, I told them I had few bars showing where ever I went even at home where I had 5 bars with my other phones, the phone has poor reception, it does have some ok features but over all was a disappointment, the back light keeps common on while talking on it robbing power and there is no way to shut it off, who wants a light shining in your ear when your talking? will this give me cancer? Other bad features include not loud enough hearing when around noise's, crummy ring tones, slippery and hard to open (dropped several times because of it, lucky for me it had soft landings), harder to get to my contacts list, no cover for charging hole, and guide does not have how to use all the features even the on line guide is missing this. I am now leary about staying with Net 10 after all the problems with this phone and Net 10's not solving my problems and may change providers.

Texting style takes some getting use to but I'm old school. Can't go wrong with this one and Net 10 was a breeze to switch from old Net 10 to this one. Nice feature; it doesn't slid all over your table or any surface when you put it down. Arrived a day early.

Not east to flip open, need two hands. Cant hear the phone ring because its a preprogrammed music melody with no other choices unless you buy one on line. No cover for USB plug. Accidentally hit the browser button located to with the back button.(it charges a minute every time you back up and hit it). No choices for a new Telephone numbers like they said they had on their web site. Could not understand the Indian accented customer service. Must wait 2 to 5 days for a sim card with your old phone #............This phone is going back TODAY.
