Bose - Surround Speakers 120-Watt Wireless Home Theater Speakers (Pair) - White

i got the soundbar 700 with sub last week , not only took me hrs to just pair them , i gave up a few times over the days ,i also got the soundtouch 20 and 30 and they have been a nightmare , everytime u play music from my phone on Bluetooth it just cuts out every 30sec or so and that on both the items so overall they do sound great when it works , but after paying 1000's on bose products i think i im over it and will be selling it all and just go with another brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having recently purchased a Bose 500 sound bar I elected to buy the supporting surround sound speakers which for the most part fit the bill, although there are some issues. The set up is a little painful with having to insert cables and screw them into place, and whilst they are small, the power packs are larger than the speakers themselves. I have found also that they loose contact with the sound bar on occasion and I need to unplug the Bose 500 and reset it, which then allows for the to reconnect. The speakers can be controlled via the app and the sound quality is good, as long as you remember that these output 5.1 surround sound and are not meant to act as two additional speakers that out the same sound as your sound bar. They work a treat on nature shows and I can hear animals walking through the leaves on the ground. If this is the level of detail that you are looking for from your sound system, I'd recommend these.

I setup my TV and the speakers in my basement 10' x 15' with adjacent open den room beside and a short hallway at the back. I added this pair of speakers to my soundbar 700 and subwoofer 500. It did completed the 5.1 setup even though I basically only have 3 speakers and a sub. The experience was phenomenal. I was watching Shrek 2 with my dog lying beside me on my left arm and startled her when the sudden horse galloping came from the left rear channel! And it did startled me too because of her. This pair of speakers produce nice sparkling sound, bird chirping and wolf howling. And the part of the movie when it was raining it sound like it is raining inside my basement. The sound of water dropping and flowing was so real. I am very impressed. I was watching bluray format in my Sony PS3. The setup of this speaker may require proper wiring. Make sure when connecting the wires they are completely inserted inside and hand tightened the tiny screws. It's not perfect wireless because each speakers are connected to this huge box. I am still trying to figure out how to hide them.
