Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi - Tablet - Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) - 16 GB - 10.1" TFT (1280 x 800) - metallic gray - refurbished

I was a little hesitant about buying a "refurbished" tablet, however after reading the reviews from other people, it sounded as if the refurbished product was just as good as a new. I received it via fed-ex today (kudos to wal-mart for the less than 48 hour free delivery) and I was pleased to see that it looks and operates like a brand new unit. No one would be able to tell that this was refurbished without being told first. Well worth the $$$$!

When I saw the 'Factory Refurbished' part, I had my doubts, but this is an awesome device. I have not had ANY issues at all. The Galaxy Tab was supposed to be the Ipad killer, but the knock was that it didn't have enough apps to make it worth while. Not so. I am not a really huge app guy, but I quickly found tons of apps that work with this that suited every need I had. It runs fast, has lots of bells and whistles, and there is enough internet content available to make it customizable and personal. I recommend this to anyone who is interested.

Have tried all the major Tablets, I-Pad 2, Asus, Vizio, Acer etc and this one meets and exceeds all my expectations. Has a great battery life. The screen quality s second to none. WiFi has great range. For the money is as good as it gets. I have the optional Samsung Galaxy Keyboard - a must if you plan on doing a lot of typing. I am using this in place of my laptop for most all my trips.

The device is fast and flexible. Primarily, it functions as a device to consume media and access files. It is not a great input device, which is the case for all tablets. The battery life is outstanding. I get through an entire day with heavy use and with plenty of battery to spare. The device is stable as well, not a whole lot of crashing apps, though it does happen occasionally. The size is just right. The 10.1 provides a great screen, while the thin and lightweight body fit very well into a portfolio style case. The price is a bit steep, but is in line with its competitors for the moment. The display leans a bit towards a blue hue, but not so much that it is a distraction. It's most noticeable when the background is supposed to be white. Speakers are adequate - loud enough for most situations, but could be a bit under-powered when trying to share something with a group of people. The quality of the sound is not bad for the size. Having two speakers that sit at the side of the device rather than on the back is a plus. I really like the flexibility of the Android OS. I'm not much of a fan of the stock Samsung apps though. They don't seem to really add anything to the device.

I have been thinking about getting a tablet for a long time. I have been looking at all the prices and specs. I was about to buy this at a different store, when my bar code scanner at told me walmart was selling refurbished ones cheaper. So i jumped on the deal saving over a 100$ and it looks like new. Has worked great, love the amazing screen quality samsung has on all their products. This is one of those great finds, you hope for when shopping.
