As any parent of small children can attest, cutting nails is not the greatest task of parenting. However, it's a necessary grooming chore that needs to be done. These nail clippers help make this thankless task not seem so terrible. The clippers have a sleek ergonomic design that allows your hand to not feel awkward or cramped as you move your way through each of the kid's nails. I am a lefty and I didn't feel any discomfort at all. In addition, the clipper part is sharp enough for the task at hand but not too sharp to cause hangnails or discomfort to the child. Also, there is no unseemly build up of nail clippings stuck inside the cutting mechanism and it is easy to clean the device. Overall, I enjoyed using this clipper and I would recommend it to other moms of small kids.

The Steady Grip nail clippers are my absolute favorite nail clippers for babies and even through the toddler years. I've used them for both of my babies and still use them today... a 5 and a 3 year old now! They are sturdy and work so well. They're well made and I love the design and how easy they are to hold, as well as use. I've used other baby nail clippers and none of them even begin to compare to these.

The Safety First Steady Grip Nail Clippers are excellent for an experienced and novice parent alike. My daughter is 2.5 years old and does NOT like to sit still, cutting baby nails is so much easier than toddlers. These nail clippers cut nails in a crisp and neat manner without me worrying about my grip on the clippers and getting the right position. I can easily and quickly cut her nails fuss free and she can be on her way faster than a traditional nail clipper. I've tried baby nail clippers before and found them to be clumsy and not sharp enough, these are the opposite and I'm glad I gave them a try. I highly recommend you try it out for your little one too. In fact in you have issues with gripping nail clippers you may want to try them out on yourself too. I love these nail clippers! I have the safety first white handled one, but I like this one much more. It has a chunkier handle so it's easier to control while my little is trying to get away. Because of the chunkier handle it also makes it easier to control and see exactly how much you are trimming off of the nail.

Nobody puts how challenging it will be to cut kids nails in a parenting book. Kids are fidgety and generally don't like their hand or foot being held in the same position. These made it so easy to keep a steady grip and they're small enough that I know I won't accidentally touch a finger or a toe. Must have for parents.
