Rain Gauge Sensor

the listing on this unit misleads one to think its a stand alone unit with reciever. the box nor the listing says anything about needing a reciever.

Unit never kept in contact with the receiver. Tried at least five or six times to make this thing work, and on this unit it means taking out all 7 batteries each time on all units in the system and then replacing, but no luck. Going back to Walmart.

The sensor is only an accessory to a weather system. No mention of this n the product description. It must be returned. Ouida

Bought this unit to use with my Weather Channel weather station as it was supposed to work with it. It was never recognized by the weather station, so I returned both the rain gauge and weather station.

I had hoped it would at least be close to accurate but it is not even in the ballpark
