Bright Starts - My Pal Al

We got this toy as a gift for our newborn son at about three months. The lights and music kept him entertained until he was able to grab and play himselt. He loved the different textures and fabrics, along with the rubber teethers and toys attached. He is one year now and still pulls it out of his toy chest and has fun pressing the buttons on his own.

This toy is exactly what I'd hoped it would be. Bright, colorful, and most importantly, engaging to my 5 month old. He loves the colors and music and I love that he loves it!

THIS IS A HORRIBLE ITEM! Not only are words misprounced but the alligator we have actually says in a voice similar to Dora the Explorer that "Tequila - it's yummy". Have any others received that message? I plan to contact the manufacturer.

I got this for my son and nices and neither one of them can push the colors hard enuff to make it work! SO they get made and then I end up having to do it!It is almost to wide for there hands to open up that big! Not a good toy cant do on there own!

This would be a great toy, if all the foreign translations of the colors were correct. The Spanish 'blue' says a-suu-lay instead of a-zoo-l. It's a gross mispronouncement, not even close. I think a toy that claims to introduce babies and toddlers to words in different languages should attempt to be accurate. I think it's really bad to ingrain a misprounounced word into a kid's head and tell them they're doing it right.
