Noticeable difference in temperature in the room.

While the general concept for utility of this product is admirable, it does not perform adequately. Compared this with another product, and it did not perform near as well. Literally, the temp was twice as high with this product compared to the other. I return this immediately. I suppose it's better than nothing, but not by much. Oh, and yes, you do need to cover your attic opening. You are losing tons of energy through it.

Whoever invented this is Genius!! I am a 65 yr old female & put this together in 3 minutes! Easily walked it up my attic stairs & placed it per the instructions. Having electric heating & A/C...I have high hopes that this will stop energy loss into the attic! At this reasonable cost, don't hesitate!

I've been pricing attic door insulation for quite a while now. I didn't want to spend almost $100 at the big box stores. I was so happy to stumble across the Duct brand at Walmart for under $40. I was reluctant at first but once installed there was a drastic difference in the heat coming from the door. Great investment.

Great product for the price. I immediately felt a difference in temperature when we installed this attic stairway cover. If you have a small draft or can feel a small amount of heat exiting from your attic stairs, highly recommend this product. Just ordered a second for my second attic access.
