I was hesitant about buying this phone because of the mixed reviews. but I went ahead with it and I *love* it! The only problem I have with it is the battery life, but that's easily fixed. :)

After reading some of the reviews for the Intercept, I feel that some people want a phone that does extraordinary things, please note that this phone will not fly you to the moon but does have all the tools and functions to get you through the day. I am always the type that does not buy something based on the reviews. First of all, I indeed love this phone, it does everything I need it to do, so it lags a little (and I mean a little) but that should be expected because nothing is perfect. I was just happy to be able to get an Android powered phone because of all the cool and interesting apps it has to offer. I try not to expect much from my phone as long as I can make a call and text on it. I am also head over heels crazy about the plans Virgin Mobile has to offer and it is without contract...what more can you ask for.

I read a lot of the reviews before buying this phone and a lot of them complained about short battery life. I haven't had any problems with the battery. I charge it each night and it only takes a few minutes to charge. Of course I don't play a lot of games or do a lot of internet surfing with it. My main complaint it there is not an indicator for messages (my old phone had a light on it that would light up when you had a message) and the volume is not all that loud, which is one of the reasons I switched from my old phone. Where I work there is a lot of noise and I can't hear it ring OR feel it vibrate. Other than that I really like it a lot. It's a study phone and the keyboard is bigger than my last phone. I like the functions and the fact that I can access the internet to do my banking etc. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a phone that will access the internet. I can't comment on gaming because I don't use it for that. It's also relatively easy to find cases, car chargers etc. really cheap. Great phone.
