Loved this phone. Dropped it several times and it never cracked just a few scratches on the side. Never slowed down with all the memory I used up. Got a new phone (S8) and I still use the S5 for other things. I will soon reset it and give it to my daughter but I loved this phone so much. Been with Samsung since the first one and now I'm at 8! LOVE!
I've had a Samsung Android tablet for years, which I love. I've always wanted a Windows tablet that could live up to the ease of use and stability I've always had with Samsung. This tablet fits all these needs and then some! The screen is gorgeous, it's fast and has been reliable so far. The only major thing I think that it's missing is a Micro SD slot which I hope that they add back in in future releases. Overall I am very happy with this tablet and look forward to using it. :)
The most beautiful display you can get on a laptop/tablet. However, Samsung did not put a "standard" USB-C port on this device. It doesn't work with most USB-C hubs and it doesn't work with most USB-C chargers and that is poor design. Also, it should have at least 2 USB-C ports so you are not required to buy a hub. The keyboard is below average. It always takes longer than it should to feel out the keys. Also, one of the keys popped off and it will not pop back on. Very poor design. Sometimes the device refuses to turn on even when the battery is full. It is just very flaky and not ready for mass consumers.
I had no idea Samsung made windows tablets. I was torn between a laptop and tablet for returning to school. I loved the portability of a tablet, but really wanted the functionality of a full on laptop. I was wishy washy for almost a full semester! When I discovered the TabPro S 12" with Windows 10 & read the specs, my decision was made for me! I purchased a blue tooth mouse and keyboard for when I feel I want those options. It is so perfect. Runs flawlessly.
Samsung gets an A+++ on concept and design. They get a straight C on execution. The Good: This tablet is as gorgeous as the reviews say. It is incredibly thin and very well made. Of course the display also lives up to the hype. The AMOLED screen is absolutely to die for. Second to none. The M3 processor is also very snappy and performed just fine for my day to day activities which include heavy usage of PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel and Outlook. No lag at all. Performs way better than my i5 Surface Pro 3 which I wasn't expecting. The not so good/bad: Samsung did a really poor job of implementing the USB-C standard. None of the aftermarket USB-C hubs work properly and I've tried six so far including the Dell Dock, the HP Elite USB-C, HooToo, Aukey and more. I really wanted to replace my Surface Pro, but you can't use this device with an external monitor AND charge it at the same time, even though all of these adapters would allow me to do use an external monitor with my MacBook 12 inch. The device sporadically goes into a coma and won't wake up until I fiddle with the Power button, the volume down button, etc. Once it goes into it's coma, you can't wake it back up with the power plugged in. Strange... I also experienced way too many crashes and reboots including both the blue screen of death and the rarely seen red screen of death. Hopefully the Samsung engineers will catch up quickly with some much needed BOIS patches and driver updates to have this work as intended. Buyer beware. I'll most likely be keeping the device on a leap of faith that the bugs will be worked out. Sadly that means I need to keep my Surface for a while longer as well.
