I love Pampers Cruisers because my son is a long, thin, army-crawler. Cruisers fit correctly on and move well with my son, and they are made well enough to hold in the leaks. My friend has a son who is more stalky-built who crawls on all fours. She hates Cruisers because they do not fit right on her son, and she ends up with leaks. She prefers Huggies diapers (which I do not care for, because on my son those diapers leak). Another of my friends prefers Luvs because the Dry-Max causes diaper rash on her baby's skin (a problem my son does not have). Moral of the story: Different brands work better with different children depending on build, crawling style, and sensitivity to ingredients. Find what works for your baby and you'll be happy with your diapers! :)
I have used Pampers since 2003. I have tried every other diaper that I've ever seen on a store shelf, and these are the best, hands down. I love the recloseable tabs and the soft feel on the outside. Now that Pampers is using Dry Max they're EVEN BETTER! Both of my kids were serious leakers, and while I have occasionally had a leak here and there, these perform way better than any major or store brand. I'm sure I don't know how so many people have complained about leaks with these diapers. Maybe they're putting them on wrong? Maybe they got a bad batch? I use these on my 2 year old and have zero trouble. (And she's quite a mover! There's no keeping her still for even a few minutes!) Helpful hint: when opening a new diaper run your finger along the elastic band around where the legs should go. They often come stuck to the diaper, and I think this is an important part of leak protection.
I love Pampers brand. These are easier to tell when they are wet, but otherwise I haven't found much difference in the Pampers baby dry version. I would recommend these. So far buying by the case at Wal-Mart is the cheapest way I have found to purchase pampers.
I've been using pampers since the day my son was born. I don't see any difference from the old ones. I think it's all in how you're baby is built because my son has the rolls and huggies are the ones I refuse to use but everyone I know that has skinny babies prefers them. It's true that the new cruisers aren't meant for nighttime which means you have to spend an extra $10/month on night time diapers but as far as the time of day when you're doing the most diaper changes, Ill stick by the cruisers. Huggies little movers are the same price but they don't fit my kid& Luvs are good at containing solids but not liquids.
I've used pampers since my daughter was born, and when she grew out of the swaddlers I chose to try the Cruisers and I have never had a single problem with them. Of course they will leak if she out grows them. If I ever felt she was going through them to fast or even leaking all I needed to do was go to the next size up and TA-DA everything was fine!
