[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality hard maple construction which tends not to mar object being clamped. Clamps are excellent for odd shaped clamping. The also work well for clamping objects being drilled on a drill press
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Jorgensen hand screws for two decades and they still operate like new and provide clamping pressure deeper into the work piece than can be reached by most other types of clamps. It takes a while to master the geometry of applying pressure, but after the learning curve they offer great flexibility in the angle at which the pressure can be applied.
As someone who runs a one person furniture and light devising build company these are my essential helping hands around the shop. These highly versatile clamps are used for everything from a way of holding large projects on edge for glueups to holding my phone for social media photo shoots!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several of these handscrews which I have acquired over many years. I use them for glue ups but also hold downs, bench stops and numerous other uses. All are still in great condition despite being exposed to extreme cold, heat, and humidity. They are worth every penny.
I've got quite a few of these and they are definitely a classic and traditional clamp. My favorite thing about them is that I can reach further in from the edge of the piece of wood I'm clamping with these compared to my other style of clamps. I've beat them up pretty good too, even dropped them a few times, never had any issues. Easy to clamp tapered pieces of wood with these and you don't even need a jig to get it done.
