This changing table was so easy to put together. I put it together by myself while keeping my daughter entertained and it took about 35 minutes. The only thing is on one of the sides the paint was a little messed up but that could have happened during the shipping process. It is very stable and durable and when we are done using it as a changing table the sides on the top can be removed easily. It is a safe and nice piece of furniture and a great deal for the price.
First off, love the site to store shipping...saves so much money. This is actually our second changing table. We bought our other one from another store....same price, different brand. After being extremely unsatisfied (super wobbly) we returned it and ordered this one from walmart.com after reading great reviews. It is super sturdy. It has plenty of room for diapers, wipes, baskets, pretty much anything!! Love it!!!
My baby isn't here yet, but I'm happy so far! Compared to the $300+ price tags on other changing tables with the same design, this one was a great deal! The backing is a little cheap looking and there were a couple places on the back where the white is peeling up, but none of that is noticeable when assembled and its about what I expected. Its sturdy and looks great in the room with my Pottery Barn crib-definitely doesn't look as cheap as it was!
It's a nice looking table and not too hard to put together though our packet was missing a tool that was required. Turns out we could just snap the pieces in my hand that required this "tool" so it worked out ok. It's not quite as sturdy as I thought it would be but it looks nice and we will be able to use it as a bookshelf later so should be fine.
We had a Jenny Lind type changer given to us. It was junk, the shelves colapsed and the pes fell out - not at all safe. This is more sturdy and can be used later for a very deep book shelf. Only thing that it's missing is a rim around the entire top to help hold the changing pad on. I put baskets in mine and it looks good and holds a lot of stuff! Our two year old boy is too long for it but we still needed a changer for a while. This was a good investment and seems like it could last thru several children.
