Bartesian - Duet Cocktail Machine - GREY

Shipping was fast but when I opened it it had something all over it that was sticky like the capsule for it had exploded. The plastic wrap was hard to get off. I don't even know if it works considering it was a Christmas present and wasn't opened until Christmas

Love the machine for the ease of making a good quality drink at home. My brother has the one with 4 reservoirs however this one was more affordable for me. It worked really well the first couple of months but now, at 4 months old, it has started spitting the liquid out everywhere as if the cup that holds the pod is filling too fast before it can come out the spout and into the cup. I didn't get the warranty and now I regret it because I would just exchange it for another one because again I love the machine but I'm sure that's not supposed to be what's happening.

I owned the first Bartesian with 4 reservoirs and though this was a pretty good price for a reduction in reservoirs. This Duet gets the job done and can do all capsules except the Long Island Iced Tea. He reduced footprint and cheaper price made this decision well worth it. The screen is easy to use and the cleaning procedures are all the same. I will note that this version does have the updated reservoirs that don't leak at all, compared to the original Bartesian. Give this unit a try.

The strong drinks are actually strong and the mocktails were actually good. Love the simplicity and ease of using it. Wish I could control which alcohol used per drink but overall I'm in love! Biggest downer is the amount and price of the drink pods for the machine (sold separately) and they never seem to be in stock.

I like to call this my Keurig for alcoholic drinks. It is definitely a great conversation starter when guests come over. I like it, but I don't think I would have bought it myself. I don't really think the drinks are all that great exactly how the machine and available pods make them. The pods are expensive in my opinion and the drinks have to be doctored up a bit. But, that is just an opinion. Some of my friends have liked them just the way they are made. I would say if you can afford it, it's nice to have. Fairly easy to clean. Some spillage happens when changing the bottles out, wish that could be fixed.
