Instant Pot - RIO 6QT Multi-Cooker - Black

I've had an instant pot for a few months now and have been really enjoying it. As a coeliac I cook with lots of rice and GF orzo and this pot has such versatility for making dishes with those staples.

One of my all time favourite appliances the recipes I've been able to cook with ease was a lifesaver for me and my kids meals and the rice cooker was AMAZING, I recently had a flood and unfortunately they got damaged beyond repair along with most of my other possessions I've had to replace but I need to get a new instapot and rice cooker when I can afford them, I love the products and have recommended them to all my family and people at work trust me they are worth it

This is very different to use than my previous stove top pressure cooker. I find it quite challenging because everything is different. My stews have the same amount of water as before but now, they turn out very watery so I have to work out how to make the adjustments. It's hit and miss with eggs, sometimes they turn out hard, sometimes soft - even on the same setting. Also the whisper quiet is truly quiet - you can't hear a thing so this is also something new to deal. Overall, I'm in leaning mode so am unsure if I like it...I think I do.

Brilliant little pot, just what I need,compact but big on results. My only criticism is, no little recipe book, no plastic measuring cup etc. I think everyone needs a little inspiration and help to get them started. Overall though, very well made, looks nice kept on my worktop. But please a recipe book.

Bought this from Argos 2 years ago. It was fine for the first 4 times, always washed the silicone seal carefully by hand. However noted the seal had become larger after the unit failed to seal - not good after just 4 cooks 2 at high pressure at 2 at medium. Constant struggle and stress to get it to seal properly = wasted energy use as having to reopen it!
