Keebler Toasted Wheat Snack Crackers, 8 Oz.

What happened?? These were my faithful go-to crackers for years but my last 4 purchases are not the same crackers?? They are stale tasting and not “golden” in color or texture. Under baked?? Yuck.

I was thinking it was just me, but I see it's not. Why did the recipe change? I am deeply disappointed. I have bought Toasteds Harvest Wheat for a long time. It was my favorite cracker. Also my 14 yr old grandson's favorite. However, the last several boxes purchased are not the same. The texture is not thin and crispy. The texture is liken to a package left open, not crispy at all and crackers seem a little thicker. The color is very pale. I thought the box was mislabeled at first. But then each box purchased after that was the same. The flavor is not the same. The flavor is not the crispy, salty, slightly sweet flavor I loved. The crackers are broken or become broken when just taking them out of the wrapper. They break in multiple pieces if you dip them. I never thought I would say this but it seems like I will be searching for a new cracker.

I never thought I'd find info by googling What has happened to Toasteds crackers? We have loved the 3 pack for many years, but agree with many others on here. Stale taste, not flavorful, and crumble easily. What happened? New company? I loved the old kind. Now I'll have to find a different brand we can eat with my homemade cheese dip.

We have been buying these for years and loved them. Last box the crackers all just fell apart as we took them out. Also did not taste the same. What gives?

Wow, these are so bad. I bought a box and threw it away because I thought they were stale. I bought another one at different store and same results. They were always my all time favorite. Please bring back the way they you used to be.
