I was hoping to get some help with the neighbor's barking dog but none of these devices even slightly disturbed my own pets. They just perked up their ears - nothing more. Really didn't expect something like this to do any good but wanted to try one to be sure. Returned this one the day after I received it.

And it's AWESOME! For those who reviewed that it doesn't do it's job, it's most likely because they were impatient, and didn't really give it the chance it deserves, it takes a little re-training to get your animal to respond to this the correct way sometimes. A few years back, a friend of mine ordered this product, she has like 6 dogs, and when we pushed the button, they all stampeded across to the other side of the house, because they were so gosh darn disturbed by that sound, it was kind of comical, but this definitely isn't something you want to abuse, or else your animals will NOT learn the proper use of the product. Give it a try, and remember, it takes a bit more training to work this gadget into your discipline routine, but if you stick with it, it will pay off.

I bought this to try out instead of resorting to a shock collar right off the bat. It was worth a try for the price. Yet, when I took it out of the packaging and put the batteries in, it did nothing. I tried several different packs of batteries to be sure that wasn't the problem. Nothing happened... I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. It's cheap enough to try, but ultimately was a waste.

I tried this on my little pup and it didn't bother him at all. He would look up for a second if I used it at least 6' or closer then go on about his business. If I was further then 6' he didn't even hear it I guess because he showed no signs or changes in behavior. The red light was lit up so guess it was putting out it's sonic noise. I returned the item and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

If you have a dog that will not listen or obey simply because they are hard headed....this is the tool for you! All you do is add a battery and press and the dog will learn to associate the blue box with "Stop that!" My dog has already learned to go to her pillow as soon as I pick the thing up! It is silent to people but it makes a noise my dog dislikes because the dog stops the behavior.....barking .....etc.....and does what I ask of her when I press the button! I recommended it to my best friend who has two dogs and she had the same results! So did her neighbor!
