Guardian Ultrasonic Bark Control

Tried this on two dogs, first a year old black lab named Zoe with no effect on his barking. Next a puppy Maltise mix named Prince. Well we tried, they both love to bark.

This collar has worked wonders with my dogs barking. Her barking has almost stopped completely. The squirrels and stray dogs still hear a bark from her but the shadow barking has stopped c completely. I recommend this to everyone that has a excessive barking dog.

I have a dog who has a very large and deep sounding bark. We live in an apartment complex and the noise from our surrounding neighbors sets off my dog's barking desire almost like clockwork. i requested the collar and within 20 minutes of placing it on her, she stopped barking. The back was easy to remove with a small screwdriver. Batteries were very easy to install. I placed the collar easily around her neck. She does not appear to feel any residual side effects some other reviewers have noted. The only problem I have is that I inadvertently set this off when I sneeze or cough. The pictures provided on the website adequately reflect the product, so I will not post any pictures. This is an easy to use product that simply takes care of the barking problem in our household, a very easy recommendation.

I was pleased to see that this collar could be adjusted from large dogs down to fit a small dog. I have a 3 year old Chihuahua. We rescued each other 2 years ago. I dearly love him except for his annoying barking habit. Everything seems to trigger his barking. From the squirrels in the backyard to a knock at the door. I have tried everything. I found myself yelling at him to cut it out which is just as annoying as his bark, maybe more so. Be aware the collar doesn't come with batteries. You'll need 2 of the CR2032 3-volt coin batteries. A small phillips screwdriver is also a must. As soon as I got the collar fitted to him and turned on, I had to test it out. I knocked on the door and he let out one small yip then his ears went straight up and he looked puzzled. Then he calmly went and laid down. Joy! I can feel my frazzled nerves smoothing out. The best part is this collar controls his barking humanely. There is no pain involved. Not like those training collars with electrodes that administer a shock. I love my dog just not his barking! I would never want to hurt him. This is a solution that keeps us both happy. He so enjoys being a good dog!

I was able to try for free The Guardian Ultrasonic Bark Control for 3 days. I have an older female Dalmatian who is set in her ways. She has room to roam outdoors on my fenced 1/2 acre property I have no neighbors behind me, there is no barking issues, when she is in the back yard. It's when she is indoors she likes to look out the front picture window, she barks at everything that moves ( birds, lizards, cars, people ect). I have tried the original shock collar many years ago but it had no effect on her, she just continued to bark and jump on the window sill. So, I was extremely excited how fast she reacted to the Guardian Ultrasonic collar. After her first bark it startled her, she immediately knew something was not right. She waited a few seconds before she barked again, her reaction was priceless, she laid down and didn't move, I wanted to laugh. She then heard a car coming down the street she sat up and started to bark again then stopped, again she laid down and didn't move. At the time I first initially started tested it on her I didn't have the TV on. The Ultrasonic diffidently seems to have a design flaw, the microphone is very sensitive and triggers on to many noises other than barking (TV sounds, human voices). I now put the collar on her without turning it on, just wearing it she literately thinks twice before barking, now she knows what may happen. She is silent for hours, her behavior has improved, she still likes to look out the picture window but no longer barks at everything outside, she may whine a little, all I have to do is stand up then she stops. In my experience I had positive results so far, but maybe too early to tell. It may not work with all dog breeds. The collar fits well on her and is easy to use. It is small and compact easy to store, I like that it came with the batteries. It is a great humane way to deal with an uncontrollable, stubborn dogs that have a mind of their own. Finally peace and quite indoors.
