Goldfish Mini Bow 2.5-Gallon Aquarium Kit

We have 3 aquariums in the house but my 9 year old wanted another one for his bedroom. Nobody knows more about the fish subject like him. This aquarium lacks for filtration features, we just put 2 small 1" fishes and the water cannot stay clean and clear for 3 days. The under gravel filter arrived without the carbon activated filter, that was purchased separately. Will worth to spend $10 more and have an external filter.

I bought this aquarium because i thought that it was a good price and i could put my new betta in it. i would reccomend it for a BETTA not a goldfish as it is way too small for a goldfish. you might consider buying a small filter for it but it will work great without it. comes with an air pump, aquarium, and different foods, ans a undergravel filter.

I love my new aquarium! I received it about 3 hours ago and I already have it set up! I have not got my tetra in it yet but it already looks like an underwater oasis! The air filter is not loud at all but the directions for setting the aquarium up are a little vague. It explained how to set up the filtration but the rest is left for you to guess at. All in all the aquarium is a super-buy for a small aquarium!

This is a pretty nice set up. It's great for Bettas except for in my case the pump was loud and disturbed the water too much. My fish couldn't make his bubble nest and this upset him. Once I turned the filter off though, he's been happy and made a very impressive one. He likes the space he has and feels very cozy. It would be great for a few goldfish I think, because the filter is strong and you need that w/goldfish. I was a bit annoyed that it was advertised on site as 'all glass' and when I got it it was plastic. Still a very nice tank.

I did not open this box as it was a gift for my grandaughter, and upon opening it when she got home the lid was broken. I am not sure I will do the on line order again, but if I do I will make sure to open the box and check out the item before I leave the store.
