I have had this straightener for over a year now, and I absolutely love it! Before I had this one, I had a more expensive Revlon straightener that got too hot and took forever to straighten my hair. This one works perfectly! I have hair 1/2 way down my back and really thick so you can imagine if it works for me, it will more and likely work for you. I just broke mine and came on here to see if I could find another one. By broke, I dropped it from the very top of my bathroom cabinet onto my hard tile floor, it chipped the plastic off. It is still able to function, but to be on the safe side, I am getting another one. I was really surprised it broke, cause I am accident prone and have dropped this thing many times and it has never done anything to it...today was just the day it decided to go. I would recommend this product to family, friends, and acquaintances.

~so heres the deal. if you have super duper thick hair i do not recommend this product.actually i do not recommend this product thick thin or normal. it's horrible all around.the color is ok i guess.this straightner should be named:JUNK.cause it is. the heat settings are horrible you need a straightner with degrees! the heat settings only go up to 25 and it dosnt even get hot enough to take out kinks. i could wait around for 20 minutes and it would not even have steam thats unbelivable!!!!!. so basically overall this product is HORRIBLE once again!

this product is a waste of money. I have thick hair , when i first got it with bday money it worked extremely well , a few months later it just stopped working as good. And now i have not even had it for a year , it leaves my hair soooooo frizzy.

I got this staightener for Christmas this past year. About a month ago it stopped working!! I use it daily to straighten my bangs but that's it really... I had a Revlon $20 cheap-o straighten before that lasted me FOUR YEARS but needed to be replaced because I dropped it so much the plastic was breaking away from the plates. Anyways, the $20 Revlon straightener has to be used AGAIN while I search for another because this one dies out before a year of use. I am really disappointed because I like it while it lasted... Now the red light comes on to show its heating up, but it never heats. It's really unfortunate.
