Baby Trend Flex-loc Infant Car Seat

I gotta agree with you guys about the handle. My wife was having a really hard time bringing the handle up and down. But, here is the solution -- WD40. I just sprayed it on the handle joints, worked it in good, and now it's really easy to bring the handle up and down. Besides that, this car seat is solid. Extremely well built and durable, colors are cool and gender neutral, and the knob on the back makes it duck soup to adjust the height.

I ordered this product online because of the great reviews it had. However, after it came in I ended up taking it back. It was very easy to release from the base which was great. I was not pleased with the fabric of the seat. It was very stiff and looked like it would be hot in the summer too and the seat was very narrow also.

The colors are very nice. Totally gender nuetral in my opinion. I bought this seat for a girl. the seat is a little on the skinny side. And the neck rest thing doesnt come off, I thought it did when I bought it.. I dont really care for that, but at the same time I havent used this seat yet, So we will see.. Also the buckle that is between their legs is kind of weird.. Not like most car seats. They dont individually click in, you have to connect the peices and then buckle it in. Now again I will see how much of a pain that is when I actually have this baby, but I cant imagine having to have done that with my first. It will probably annoy me. lol. Its not very padded where the babies bottom will go, but then again its for safety not comfort and I dont think the babe will mind, the part where the back goes is really padded though.. And a kiddopotamus snuzzler will NOT fit into this seat. the seat is too skinny and will that non-removable neck rest, there is no room for it.. So would I buy this Car Seat knowing what I know now? Ehh, maybe. I cant really say until the baby actually comes, so maybe the negatives wont really be negatives. lol. Also the reason I put that I never use it is because the baby isnt here yet....

This is by far the best car seat we have ever purchased. This will be our 4th baby, so we know what we want and don't want. This car seat has it all. It is made of great material you can just wipe off, the straps are adjustable without having to re thread them in a different whole, the latch to take from the base is in the front of the seat and not in the back, and it is very cute!!

I absolutely LOVE this carseat. It was easy to install and looks really nice. My daughter likes it. :) I did a lot of research about carseats before choosing this one. It is definitely one of the best ones out there and one of the lowest prices. It got very good consumer reviews and ranked second on the overall best carseat. Of course all carseats on the market have to pass the safety test. However, I read that all carseats are only tested at 35 mph. They tested this one at 70 mph and it still passed where anothe brand failed at around 40 mph. I know some people complained about the buttons on the handle being hard to push down. I don't know if they've fixed that since those reviews, but mine is very easy to puch the buttons down. The other complaint I've read is that it's heavy. It might be a little heavier, but I have no trouble carrying it around. I figure if it is a little heavier, it's more sturdy and would hold up better in a crash. Overall, I would definitely recommend getting this carseat. It's wonderful. :)
