Evenflo - Embrace Infant Car Seat, Daisy Dot

I have always loved the Evenflo brand of car seat. I used an Evenflo car seat very similar to this one for my first daughter. The head support pillows that come with this car seat are awesome. I have never had to worry about my daughters (very wobbly) head falling to far to either side. There is just the right amount of padding and comfort for my baby. The handle makes it easier to carry. This car seat is very easy to install, and very easy to take in and out of the car. The colors are nice too. The green wasn't nearly as dark as I thought it was going to be... it's more of a light olive color, and is accented by the pink very well. The material is very easy to take off and clean, plus its very easy to just wipe down also. This car seat is overall a great car seat. I would recommend this car seat to my friends and family.

We installed the seat correctly in our car, but our daughter's head kept flopping forward. Part of that may be because she was under 7 lbs. but it seemed like the seat should sit back more. I really love the head rests, carrying handle, and it is super easy to release the seat from it's base. This car seat also fits between a booster seat and another car seat in our Pontiac Vibe, so it works for us. Best we've had yet.

I used this style of car seat with my first child. It held up extremely well (used for first 12 months) and was easy to use and comfortable to carry. My daughter did fuss in it for the first couple months until I realized that she had acid reflux. Once she was on meds for that, the fussiness went away and she was happy to be in it and would easily fall asleep. We took her on a 13 hour road trip with no major problems. Am preparing to use it now for a second child.

I was worried that there were to many good reviews that it was to good to be true, I was wrong! I Love it! I think it needs better head support. But with the cost of the seat being affordable I don't mind finding it to add to it. The material is nice and soft. I think my little girl will love it!

From some of the other reviews I was a little bit wary because of the things said about the straps but it was so easy to set up (not much to do) and the straps are really easy to adjust. Plus this car seat is so adorable. I can not wait to use it (baby is due mid-October). So cute, it's perfect.
