it arrived by email I'm trying to put it on my phone now and activate the new device and had to bring my phone up there to be scanned again cuz it wasn't scan properly now the minutes are not working it says it's an invalid pin and there is no returns so what am I supposed to do about the minutes the $30 that I wasted thinking I was getting them is there any way I can get a refund please let me know something thank you have a blessed day
We were told to order this card along with a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime telephone. When we went to activate the phone we were told the card doesn't work with the phone. So we had to order a 45 minute card. We want our money back for the 30 minute card.
When I started using Straight Talk for my phone service it was an excellent deal. But, today I would say it is average, mostly because many of the major providers offer the same service for the same price or in some cases less. The second thing I based this review on is service, can I make a call & can I receive my calls, and customer service. Making calls along the I-5 corridor is excellent but the further you move from the corridor the worse it gets, it is the same with receiving calls. Customer service is poor in my opinion, I had to by 2 sims because Straight Talk sent me the wrong one and even though the customer service agent said I would not have to pay for the correct sim and would receive a free month of service I ended up paying for the new sim card and never received any airtime to make up for what I lost while I was waiting for the correct sim to arrive. The reason I give 4 stars is because with the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) I was able to use my Dell Venue Pro windows based phone OS 7.8 and despite the poor start I have received relatively good service since.
This plan would have been ideal for my dad since he doesn't use web or text much. It is less expensive than an individual plan from Verizon or ATT. However it won't work with the bring your own phone option. They only take the $45 card if you don't use their phone.
The last two on line purchases failed to be delivered to my e mail. I got the confirmation of the order but not the electronic delivery. I had to copy the order number and go to a different web site to retrieve it. Very frustrating and time consuming.
