Royal Canin is at it again!!! Changing ingredients to save themselves money! Meanwhile our already compromised gastro dog are getting sick! This is so shameful! It's all about the dollar and sadly we have no idea when they do this so our dogs end up suffering. Now I have to find another brand of dry food. They just did the same thing to the canned food and my poor dog suffered. Don't trust Royal Canin with your beloved dog! Rating Royal Canin a F

My Golden Retriever spent the first year in her life with running stools and violent diarrhea. We tried dozens of foods with no relief. She has severe gastrointestinal issues, and is on a strict "no human food" diet. This food gave her the ability to be a normal dog. She is now 6 years old and has continued with this wonderful food. We highly recommend it for anyone with a dog who has gastrointestinal issues. Couple that with the Gastrointestinal Treats, and she lives like a queen! Thank you Royal Canin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Our dog had pancreatitis and was prescribed this food. He seems to get filled up on it and it keeps him healthy, most importantly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I started feeding Royal Canin X-Small Breed Adult to my first dog on Recommendation by our veterinarian, after spending nearly $2000 on GI issues, a GI bleed, constipation, and ICU visit- all while feeding a 5star grain free diet. He was suffering kidney problems as a result of too high protein, and could not digest the food properly. The change in my dog after switching was amazing! He had no more GI issues and has been healthy, full of energy, and pain free since! After that, I had my 9yo dog come down with an autoimmune type pancreatitis, and he nearly died. I was handmaking a raw, lowfat diet for him as he had been unable to tolerate any of the Rx/ processed foods on the market that we had tried. He had also stopped drinking water, so I was having to make a soup for him so he would stay hydrated. The vets were out of ideas for me. I asked another Vetrinarian if she had had any luck with the Royal Canin Rx diets and she suggested the GI Low Fat to try. It was absolutely amazing! Not only did he eat it, he transitioned so fast, never had a GI upset, and started drinking water again for the first time in a year!! He is now healthy and acting like his puppy self, playing, pain free, and happy! I was always a skeptic, but I'm now a believer in these products and promote them like crazy. I wish I would have found them years ago... I'm a service dog trainer, and all of my training dogs, clients, and future dogs will all be fed Royal Canin products. I now use several of their formulas, and have perfect results with them all! My dogs and the dogs I have in training all thank you!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have a very healthy 17 Aussie/Shepherd mix. She is the love of my life. She has slowly been losing weight and within last few weeks began to have significant GI upset. She stopped interacting and even stopped meeting me at the door when I arrive home from work ( something she has done every day since she was a puppy). She was at the Vet office for 5 days. Because of her age, I thought this could be the end. Then my vet started her on Royal Canin and within a few days her symptoms started to resolve. The next day after bringing her home she started meeting me at the door again. Thanks for giving my dog her smile back!
