Burts Bees Grapefruit & Sugarbeet Shampoo

I have been using this product (and corresponding conditioner) for at least 5 years. The way it lathers (volumes of soft bubbles without that conventional slimy texture) is such a pleasure (even though it takes a bit more patience to work up that lather). My hair feels healthy and I love the tangy citrus fragrance. I recently tried another shampoo in the BB line and it was far less satisfactory. I notice that my new bottle of grapefruit and sugar beet (not yet opened) has a revised formula ( including "fragrance" (how natural is that?) and hope that this great product has not been diminished.

I was very excited to try this product, but was disappointed after its use. Its consistancy was less dense than many typical shampoos, however it did not lather or spread well in my hair. I had to use significantly more compared to typical shampoos. Given its cost, this was a negative feature. Furthermore, it left my hair exceptionally dry and tangled even when used with its complimentary conditioner. The product did smell good. Overall, it was a disappointment; I will try other BB shampoos in hopes that I can find a natural shampoo and complimentary conditioner that will work with my hair.

Smelled nice, but leaves hair (and hands for that matter) feeling dry during and after use. I have always had soft/healthy hair, so there's really no excuse for this. I find that my hair tangles more throughout the day since I started using this shampoo. Also, it is quite hard to rinse out completely. Half the time I find suds on my hairbrush after I thought I had rinsed thoroughly. I might be able to put up with that if it didn't leave my hair feeling so dry and brittle. Very disappointed.

I like the smell of this, but as far as cleaning my hair goes and leaving it shiny, I'm not sure. It does clean my hair, but it takes a lot of rubbing in to make it lather. I don't feel like my hair is any shinier, in fact, it seems a little frizzier. I like that it's natural, so I keep using it, but it could be improved.

This was a great shampoo, it smelled very nice and was much thicker then the very volumizing shampoo. It left my hair looking shiny and soft, with use of the hair treatment,conditioner, and hair repair. This is the best shampoo in the Burt's Bees shampoo line and all the other shampoo's I used! I will buy this product again!
