20piece Combo Kit

For $30.00 (much more everywhere else) this product cannot be beat. Yes when you open the package it looks like alot to put together but once you do 1 light which for the first time might take 10 minutes , the others you can easily put together in less than 5. Also Malibu quickly sends out replacement parts very fast with no questions asked & if you need more lights than this set comes with (although 20 was more than enough for me & I just keep the extras for spares) Lowes sells both the light & spot light with all the parts including the bulb for under $6.00. Honestly you can pay more for maybe the metal lights but between the yardmen & kids these things get stomped & kicked & will break no matter what you buy so why pay more. Lights are bright & the light sensor eye is much better than the timers on those older Malibu lights. All in all a bargain in todays world.

Malibu low voltage lights are easy to install. Assembling them takes some time, but well worth the effort at this price. My wife is extremely pleased with the results in our backyard. Caution: these are not bright lights, they are good for accents, but I would not use them for safety or security lighting.

Takes a while to put the pieces together and the snap on parts to the connecting wire are hard to get right. Make sure you get your lights where you want them as it is extremely hard to disconnect a light. That being said the kit is good buy. The lights are bright and once you get them in they look great. Another thing is the stakes seem to big to fit the lights but I discovered the tabs on the top bend in to fit. The instructions are minimal but you will figure it out.

This will take you some time to put togerher, each light needs to be assembled. But its a good value and is a good low voltage lighting system for our rather large back yard. I bought two one for the front yard and one for the front. They look very nice.

The reviews of this product looked good, so we purchased two sets of these lights through the site-to-store option. They arrived in the store and we picked them up and got them home and had both sets put together in about an hour. And yes, you have to put every component of the light together yourself. We just installed them this afternoon (easy installation, just time consuming), which took a couple of hours, and crossed our fingers that they would come on at dark. Lo and behold, around 8:15 both sets came on and I can't believe how bright they are for just 4-watt bulbs. They're much brighter than the solar lights we previously had. They do a good job of illuminating the immediate area where they're placed. The only thing that I'm hoping I don't grow to dislike is there is no on/off capability (unless you unplug them). It operates via a photo cell, not a timer. So it senses daylight and darkness and goes on/off accordingly. So they'll burn all night. We'll see how that works out. The number of lights you get for the price is a great value.
