Roadmaster VRBCS300W Wireless Backup Camera - Rear view camera with monitor

I had no problem hooking this thing up. They give you everything you need EXCEPT longer license plate screws. Other than that, installation was a breeze with only two crimp-on connections. It comes with a very long wiring harness, but you shouldn't need much of it. Overall, I love this camera and will probably buy another for my truck.

Pretty decent unit. Took about an hour to install on a Honda Odyssey. Had to drill one hole behind the license plate, easy enough. Works pretty good, rain will cloud the image. After adjustment my wife likes it very much. Might want to relocate the camera to the lower plate holes, currently attached to the upper holes and access to the door latch is very limited. Good product. Have had it for less than one week so we hope it lasts for the long run.

I used this system in a different way. We removed the mirrors on customers sportbike and mounted this system in the dash. He loves it. Its been about two months now and its doing great. I have bought 2 more for people who had seen his and wanted yhe set up.

This camera was intended to help me keep from bashing in the back of my Ford Pickup when hitching my trailer. It exceeds my expectations for a wireless camera. Crystal clear full color image is great. Fairly easy for a mechanical guy but would recomend a pro install if there is one available . I mean its easy but takes some care not to damage wiring in your vehicle if you don't know what your doing. I do recomend the larger 3.5 " screen though. The little one is fine if its reasonably close to your eyes. Very pleased.

I purchased this item as a gift for my 75 year old mother who drives cancer patients to their treatments for a "hobby". As she drives a large van (and she's a short woman), it has become increasingly more difficult for her to know what's behind her when she drives. A few months ago, she backed in to a mailbox, which disturbed her greatly. She has just had it installed and she is thrilled with the way it works. She loves that it comes on when she puts the van in "reverse", and turns off when she puts it in "drive". I'm happy that she won't be running over any more mailboxes, and her little dogs are safe, too!
