I have always wanted a treadmill and finally decided to get one. I am a 58 year old female who has owned and used fitness equipment since I was in my 20s. I have used treadmills at fitness clubs but have never had one at home. I saw this one online and decided to try it. I absolutely love it! It required some assembly but was easy to do. I have only completed the first 30 minute program. It is a real workout! The incline will raise and lower according to the program and there is an indicator light which tells you when to pick up the free weights (included) to maximize your workout. There are 8 programs (4 for weight loss and 4 performance). You may also use the manual settings until you are ready for the programs. I am very happy with this model and don't feel that I will outgrow it. A great value for the price.

Returned to walmart the same day after waiting 2weeks, cowling around the front destroyed yet no damage to the box? Gained a full refund and have to reorder but not prepared to wait another 2 weeks and it may be damaged again.

I have discovered thru all of my research, that all...even the most expensive machines have bad reviews on them from some folks. Therefore, its wise to simply get what you can afford & purchase the extended warranty to protect yourself. It arrived early & took approx' 2.5 hrs to assemble (mostly all by myself). I purchased this for my wife & she enjoys the use of this daily. I ask her daily if she is having any problems with it & she says no. She loves it. If it starts making noise, I will assume that I need to adjust the belt tentioner, before damage occurs. Appears to be of good quality. The length of the running pad is long enough that you shouldn't fall off the end real easy. Additionally, there is quick disconnect that turns off the machine if it detects that you have fallen or walked off the machine. It connects to your clothing & should always be worn.

I had the treadmill delivered to my door with free shipping. I put the treadmill together in about 2 hours by myself and didn't run into any snags. I've only had it for a week and am totally satisfied with it. Its quiet and powerfull.

If I could give this thing a 0, believe me I would. Did lots of research before purchasing to make sure there wasn't anything better out there for the same price or cheaper. What sold me was the fact that it was a GOLD'S GYM treadmill. I read some reviews, some where from people my age/weight saying the product was wonderful and that they had no problems with it. So I decided to buy it and give it a try. I had this thing shipped to my house from Walmart.com. Two men lifted this heavy object into my house, the box looked in tact, overall I was happy. Three days later when I finally build this thing, when I finally go plug it in, the machine does a beep start up sound. So far so good. I stand on the treadmill and press "GO" and the tread belt does NOT move!!!!! I also noticed a foul burnt plastic smell as the machine was on for the first and last 20 seconds that it was on. After all that hard work and this thing does not work? It's a piece of junk. I called ICON, the manufacturer's company for repairs. They tell me that I need to remove the motor hood and check the motor out, Sure enough there is my problem. It seems to me that while it was being shipped, it was dropped because the motor was loose, the screws holding the motor to a metal piece were broken. If you are going to buy this junk, beware. I suggest you spend at least $1,000 for a beginners treadmill that has more quality than this. Oh and by the way, this junk is mostly plastic. Very easy to break. Please note: this treadmill is only for walking! not for avid runners. I hope this review prevents someone from making my terrible mistake. Now I am waiting for Walmart to send a Courier to ship it back because you cannot take this item back to a walmart store since it is an over sized object. The only thing keeping me happy is the fact that Walmart.com customer service reps were very courteous and I've already received my refund.
