Fairly easy to put together, BUT I WOULD HAVE A DRILL! The screw spots are not pre-drilled, and you can imagine the difficulty in starting a screw into slick, hard plastic. A second person is also helpful to put pressure on the unit while the other person screws the parts together. This limits the gaps in the finished product. My baby girl loves her DINER! She likes to get into the seat, out of the seat, into the seat....and so on. The battery for the bubbling stovetop went out very fast, but the others have lasted. Great product, definately worth the money!

My son got this for Christmas and he loves it! It was very easy to put together. He sits in the diner chair all the time. Sometimes we let him eat his snack there. He doesn't really play with the kitchen side much (just turned 2), but he does play with the food. My niece and nephew love to play with it too and they are 5 and 7! I think we will get many years of fun out of this one. The only thing I'm upset about is on the very first day, he opened the oven door then stood on it for just a minute, and now it won't close - it just falls back open. So that is annoying.

We purchased the diner as a Christmas present for our daughter who is 22 months. My husband put it together on Christmas Eve. This was by far her favorite gift and now almost a month later she is still playing with the diner on a daily basis. She enjoys especially sitting in the booth and sometimes eating her snacks as well as making coffee and scooping icecream. Different stuffed animals are alway having a meal at the diner. The only downfall to the assembly was that the door to the stove did not latch properly which is why I gave the overall rating a good. My husband was creative and used a nail to help the door latch. It makes it a little more diffucult to open and close the door but my daughter is still able to do this. We found the diner on sale at the Walmart Website and used ship to the store which worked great.

My kids (both boys almost 3.5 and almost 2) got this for Christmas this year, and they love it! They both love to imitate cooking and pouring hot chocolate, etc., so they were ready for some kind of kitchen, but I didn't want something too girly either. This is perfect, especially with the seating area and pass through window. They play with it every day and "make coffee" for mom and dad at breakfast on the weekends. They put their bears in the seats as customers, too. We bought a set of play pots and pans with some utensils which really compliments the set. Something like that could have been included, I wish there was a little more storage, and the directions weren't entirely clear - just pictures - but aside from those 3 things, it works out ok. It's also not so big that it takes up an enormous amount of space. It's light enough that they can pull it out from the wall to play with both sides of it, while still being sturdy. My guys even like to eat their real snacks sitting in their diner. Great toy to spark some really imaginative play! One last thing I have to say is that I ordered this online from Walmart for literally half the price of what it sells for elsewhere, too, including the tax and shipping! It got to me standard delivery in about 3 days of my order. I was very happy.

We bought this for our 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! Our 26 month old son loves sitting at the diner while she cooks for him. Our 8 year old dughter has also enjoyed playing with them! The diner is easy to assemble, just allow for time and patience when applying the stickers:) It is very solid and has fun features like the working jukebox and the perculating coffee pot/frying hamburger sounds. A great purchase!
