How does Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray work? Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray works right in your nose to help block your allergic reaction at the source to relieve the symptoms that make you uncomfortable. Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray acts on multiple inflammatory substances, including histamine, prostaglandins, cytokines, tryptases, chemokines and leukotrienes. Most common OTC allergy pills act on histamine alone. Because of the way it works, it may take several days for Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray to reach maximum effect. That’s why it’s best to use Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray regularly, once a day. Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray not only relieves sneezing, itchy nose, and runny nose, but also relieves nasal congestion. How soon will I get relief? You may start to feel relief the first day you use Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray. Keep using it every day, though. It takes several days before Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray builds up to full effectiveness. Does Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray cause a “rebound” effect? No, Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray does not cause a rebound effect. Some nasal decongestant sprays may cause your nasal passages to swell up even more when you use them too often or for longer than their label says you should (three days). This is sometimes called a “rebound effect.” Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray is a different kind of medicine and does not cause any rebound effect. You can use Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray for up to six months if you are age 12 or older or up to two months a year if you are age 4-11 before checking with a doctor. Understanding Allergies An allergy is a sensitivity to a substance that is normally harmless. Flowers, trees, a family pet, or dust are examples of things that can cause an allergy. Even foods like peanut butter, fish, and milk can cause an allergic reaction to people with sensitivities to them. A substance that triggers an allergy is called an allergen. Allergies start when allergens like pollen or pet dander enter your body and trigger your immune system to respond. Your body’s natural response is to release multiple inflammatory substances, (also referred to as mediators) that cause your allergy symptoms. People can have different reactions to allergens, even when they are allergic to the same things. Some common reactions a person might experience after contact with an allergen include: • asthma • hay fever • upset stomach • eczema (a skin disease) • itching • itching of the roof of the mouth • itchy ears, nose and throat Allergy Tips Avoiding Allergens If you are allergic to a certain food or to a pet, total avoidance is the best strategy. Unfortunately, many allergens are not easy to eliminate. Dust mites, cockroaches, and mold are some common indoor allergens, and even if you keep your house immaculately clean, tiny particles of these substances are likely to remain. They can get into furniture, bedding, and soft toys. Here are some tips that can help you keep your house allergy-safe: • Limit the number of carpets in your home. It is easier to remove allergens from smooth, hard floors such as tile or wood. • Keep out of your basement. Most basements are damp, which encourages mold growth. A dehumidifier may help as well. • Enclose your mattress in a vinyl cover to protect against dust mites. • Remove all cloth drapes or curtains from your bedroom and replace with blinds. • Wash bed linens and pillows in water hotter than 130º F to kill dust mites. • Use an air purifier with a HEPA (high-efficiency particulate-arresting) filter to minimize the allergens floating in the air. Dosing Info Directions • read the Quick Start Guide for how to: • prime the bottle • use the spray • clean the spray nozzle • shake gently before each use • use this product only once a day • do not use more than directed

You are an idiot if you use this daily and don't buy it this way. Works just as good and is incredibly cheaper. By the way it works best with zyrtex.
