This is actually better than some of the newer non-smartphones from Tracfone/Net10. First off this is one of the cheapest of not the cheapest phones currently being sold on Walmart's website for below ten dollars, but for some reason it still hops anywhere between seven to ten dollars. This must still be a hot item, though Walmart doesn't label it as such. I doubt it'll be up for grabs much longer this year so act quickly! It is a slightly older basic phone option. Metro PCS released the Huawei H110C as the Verge. Something confusing: A picture on this website depicts the back of the Huawei H110C as a soft flat gray color, but mine is all black with no color differential aside from the buttons. Aside from that, the coloration doesn't really matter because it's still flashier looking than some of the newer dumbphones. The blue-backlit number pad is squat but easy to use, and easier on the eyes. Huawei doesn't have very many options with basic cell phones, but they did construct the H110C well. The battery hatch does NOT clip on but rather slides on and sits flush edge-to-edge, giving the phone a unibody appearance. A small bump towards the bottom-center of the battery hatch makes it not sit very well on a table, but this is a non-issue (allows speaker to breathe) for those constantly up and about on foot all day. Despite there being a volume rocker, it only adjusts call/message alerts. The 3.55 MM Headphone Jack only serves as a headset adapter given the H110 CDMA does not have any bluetooth or multimedia. What I do love is you can change the menu themes to a black/white High Contrast, which to me is aesthetically more pleasing. For butt-dialer's the H110C excels in not having a WAP Browser, which in turn means it's IMPOSSIBLE to accidentally spend minutes in one go... Something my newer phone is infamous for. Unfortunately, it may still be possible to butt dial 911. Yikes!

For me as a snowbird from Switzerland is this cell perfect to use it for 2 months while I'm staying in Florida. Cheap calls, no roaming costs. To recomment for overseas travellers!

Seems to be a good little phone. Keyboard and text entry much easier and more user friendly than comparable Alcatel model. Any phone without internet is hard to come by anymore.

This is a very nice basic phone. You can text on it, although it is difficult. It is a nice size and the buttons are a little bigger so easier to dial. You can lock the screen so it does not accidentally dial. The calls come in clear. It does not have anything fancy. It is just a phone, but it works well and the price is fantastic. It is a tracfone and it comes with double minutes. If you are looking for just a phone this one is great.

I don't have a landline so i bought this phone for my kids for emergencies. It's velcroed to my wall. There's no internet/games on it so they don't play around with it. Just calls only. For $20 I get double minutes and its good for 3 months. The reception is good and the sound is clear.
