easy to use fast to set up portable you could take it with you on a vacation zoom feature was very nice has a lot of great features I would defiantly recommended for parents you could use it for all ages that need to be looked after or get into mischief

The Summer Infant in View 2.0 Video Baby Monitor has a great color picture, black and white in the dark. The audio is great as well. It is very easy to set up because the two pieces are pre factory paired. Push the top button on the top of the camera for three seconds to turn it on. But for the handheld piece hold it down until it turns on. This set is awesome because you can remotely adjust the camera angle and zoom in. I use this for my 6 year who sleep walks and snores pretty bad at times. She knows that she can talk to me through the camera and I can push the chat button and respond to her!

I am going to be a great grandma come August and I can't wait. I got this camera and monitor to have to use when my great granddaughter is at great grandma's house, plus it's portable so you can take it with you anywhere you can plug in the camera. I had to try it out and used my TV to check it out with so I could see movement. It worked great. You can adjust the camera up and down and side to side so you can get it just where you want it, as well as checking the room other than just where the baby is. You can use it as a video cam too not just a monitor. I love that it has the lights on it so even if the volume is down some it still gets your attention and you know there is something happening. I tried taking a picture of the monitor but where I had it setting wasn't a very good place and it looks fuzzy. The picture on the monitor itself was good though. It didn't help that it was of something on my TV which had a glare on it either. If there was one thing I would have to say I'd like to have improved on this would be the volume. It's not quite as loud as I would like it to be, but the lights that flash do sort of make up for that.

This monitor and camera unit is a great helper, it comes with a hand held monitor; with a kick stand, across the top of the monitor is an attractive sound bar of colors to show sound, motion, or movement. Also with this handset you can control the zoom of the camera, pan in or out, the entire room. Best of all you can speak to and comfort the baby with the talk back to baby button. This unit also has a temperature display. The Summer Infant in view camera, is also very clever, it has night vision and a zoom that can tilt up and down, also side to side. With this camera with a choice of night light colors either red or blue, This unit can also be wall mounted it comes with two adapters, and a wall mounting unit with security clips. I would recommend this set to friends and family.

I really love this little gadget and was surprised it was so easy to work. I'm a bit electronically challenged so I was a little intimidated by this monitor. Actually the hardest part of it all was getting the thing out of the box. Wow, I thought I would have to call in some muscle men to get the screen section out of the plastic enclosure. That just indicates it was well packaged. I charged it and then got it set up to use while my granddaughter took her nap. By sitting it on the bureau I could pan around the room and see anywhere she might go (except under the bed). The panoramic option even enables you to see behind the camera just by using the control. You can pan up to the ceiling and down to the floor. It is just like you're holding the camera and moving it with your hands. The only issue with the instructions was that to get the pan to work you have to hold the button down. This was clearly stated in other steps but was not clear to me on the pan. The temperature reading, night light, zoom, and especially the sound are nice extras. Baby monitors were not on the market when I had my children but I appreciate this particular monitor as a grandmother. The extra steps you have to take and the concerns of having a young child in the house is made easier by having this monitor. I won't list the features as I'm sure they are listed on the website but I can't think of anything else you would need in a monitor.
