HART 19-1 Multi-Tool, Golden Stainless-Steel

Has multiple uses and you can never have enough tools hand at your fingertips, that is for sure, the more the merrier! Who could not use a new scraper? It's good to share them tools also, even better if you just get an extra one to give to a friend to let them know you are thinking of them! :)

I used this tool for scraping various things for a while and it worked fine. However, I used it as a pry tool to pry some moulding away from some drywall and it BROKE. It didn't bend. The metal fractured. The force was not that great. After all, it was moulding vs drywall, yet the metal cracked. It's apparently made of a really cheap steel in China where quality often comes in third.

How much utility can be built into a painter's tool? Exactly 19! If there is any other way to refine the engineering of a tool like this, it would find your housekeys or walk the dog! I was so pleased to get this the other day, now all I need to do is study all the practical uses it has: nail puller (like a nail gone wrong that needs to be pulled out) chisel/scraper, paint can opener, roller cleaner (pull against the circle-shaped edge to wring out the paint) there is a cutting edge, nut driver, (2 sizes) slotted wire stripper, bottle opener, 5-gallon bucket opener, and even comes with a multi-bladed screwdriver (slides into a slot on the side) and your choice of phillips or regular flat screwdriver, that fits into the opening on the bottom of the handle. Never lose any of them, there's a place for everything. I only wish all tools were as well thought out and handy as this by Hart! They also thought of a way to help keep the blades clean, by giving it a coating of 'golden stainless steel'! It comes with a limited lifetime warranty, and is well worth every cent!!

A 19 in 1 tool for a little bit of everything for around the house. The handle has a good rubber type grip and the tool is marked stainless. But it still lightweight. I will be mostly use it for painting When you own a house it seems like you are always painting something inside or outside. This tool has a paint scrapper, lid bucket paint opener, and a small and regular size roller cleaner on it which is awesome. It even has a bottle opener for that break time. I has so much more and even came with a double ended drive bit pushed inside the handle. Take a look at the picture and you will see what all you can do with the tool and just how handy it is to have around.

I like that they incorporated 19 tools in a small space. Of course it won't replace your tools but it's nice to have something handy. The nail puller is handy when you are scraping old paint. Paint can opener instead of having another screwdriver laying around. The paint roller cleaners come in handy plus the 5 gallon bucket opener. You need to hang this off your tool belt to keep it close by. After a long day of painting or scraping, you are ready for a cold one? Well they incorporated a bottle opener, what a handy tool. I recommend you add this to a toolbox or tool bag. Give as part of a house warming gift for those DIY'ers in your Life.
