We have a small dog that likes to jump all over everyone despite constantly being told no. We started using this product with it's enclosed directions and it has made a big difference in our pup. It's a slow process but so far he's making satisfactory progress. The program is easy to execute and stick to. The collar doesn't seem to hurt him but it does get the point across. We look forward to continuing our work with the collar for continued improvement.

The collar works better then anticipated. The instructions are easy to understand and useful, I recommend reading them before using so that you fully know the power and capabilities of the product so that your expectations are within reason. With the overall concept breaking down to this; press one button for sound and a positive response to the dog and the other button for warning/correction for the dogs bad behavior. While the “controller” does have a clip on it, it is a bit on the large side. For someone wanting to go on a walk and potentially not having pockets this could be considered a con and turn someone away from using the product at a time in training when it could be most needed. Also understand that every dog is different and that this is a process for the owner as much as the dog, and that you will need to be patient with the product to figure out the “strength” settings that work well for you dog without being overkill. The collar works great inside 35-40 ft, I have noticed that beyond this point it takes a few more attempts to get it to “connect” The only complaint I have is that while the instructions are easy to understand in putting the product together we had to try multiple times to get the product in order for it to properly work. So this could take some time, otherwise great product.

We have three dogs (130 pounds, 80 pounds, and 15 pounds); I intended to use this product for our shih-tzu. The packaging says it will fit dog’s collar sizes six to twenty-eight inches, but that did not hold true for us. Our dogs all have basic commands down and our big dogs are well socialized and polite. It is our little one that will “alert” to other dogs and as she spazzes, it makes the big dogs bark and pull on their leads. The big dogs can appear scary! So we got this to put on the little one to snap her out of her “spazz attack”. Without the little one, the big ones are interested in other dogs but not defensive; and once the little one starts, she can’t stop and it’s hard to get the big dogs back under proper control. Sadly, it just didn’t fit! The packaging says it’s safe for dogs over eight pounds; she’s nearly twice that but I couldn’t make the collar fit her!! The contacts on the collar have to touch the skin for it to deliver a shock; it was impossible to get it to fit her! It would have been GREAT for our big dogs, but they don’t need that level of training! So I WOULD recommend this product on medium or large dogs, but definitely not for little dogs (see photo...I could not get it tight enough to make contact with the dogs skin).

I have 3 dogs, a chijuajua, a bijon frisse and a shih Tzu, or as they are famously know to our neighbors.. Peter O'toole, Gary and Charlie Buttons or Big Fatty Boom Boom in Charlies case. We love our babies, but they are older and their training when we got them was ... spotty to say the least. so, we're using this and so far we've had some success. If you're expecting an overnight training miracle... this isn't it, but with patience I think it will be very successful. and I look forward to the day I can get completely free of the overnight wee wee pads. I'll be revisiting this post and let you know how it all works out.

I have an older dog who barks and growls at the air. This has helped so much I love it. We have tried other bark collars and they worked for awhile then she became immune to them. The batteries that are used in this one I can get at walmart itself versus going to a pet store and buy an $18 battery that doesn't work for long. I love the remote control and the warning button. It works like a charm. I highly recommend it to other people who have behavior challenged dogs.
