I used to be a loyal Cascade user until a while back I tried this product and it turned everything into a disgusting mess. All my pots were now coated with a white film that woundn't come of as all my glasses and utensils. I left your product and went to Finish which does not do this. During the holidays I sent my husband to get dishwasher soap and he came home with this product again. I thought by now you must have figure out it was ruining your customers kitchen items and fixed it. WRONG. I did the exact same thing. If you know a product is doing this, pull it from the shelves and stop wasting consumers money. I have read the reviews and your company is well aware that this is happening. I have gone through a few hundred dollars in kitchen items including my pots. I will stick with FINISH.

I have never used Cascade before and NEVER will again! I purchased Cascade powder with bleach lemon scent and after just one use have a terrible film on my clear glassware that I now can not remove! I can feel a gritty residue on my other dishes as well, and my flatware is stained. The residue left behind is white and looks "baked on" I have tried everything including soaking in vinegar, and have even gone so far as to soak the glass items in CLR. But once dry the film is still there. I do not know what is in this stuff but it CAN NOT be good!

Have been a very satisfied customer for many years. Never even thought of buying another product, and glasses were crystal clear with no rinse additives needed. Now the reformulated powdered detergent is leaving my glasses so stained with white film that I have to rewash them by hand when expecting company over. I now hold them up to see how bad they are when removing them from the dishwasher. I thought a stuck float and low water level on the dishwasher was causing this. I pulled the float up to clean it and it ended up breaking in the process. After the cost of replacing the parts the first load through ended in same white stains. Had I known the new version of detergent was causing this I would have been spared a lot of grief.

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I bought this box of Cascade with bleach. It is the worst detergent. All my dishes have a cloudy film on them! Im so upset! I really hope the vinegar wash works to remove the film. Anyone have any other suggestions just in case.

My dishes not only have a film, but the film coats the food on the plates/glasses that doesn't come off. I can't believe I'd ever say this again, but I'm going to start washing dishes by hand. Why buy a product, waste the hot water, then have to wash them all over again??? So much for helping the environment.
