Scotch 3M 136S Transfer Tape, 1/2 in Width

I spent too much time trying to figure out how to get the double sided tape to work. As a last resort, I looked for web information and/or videos on how to work the tape. Finally, I got the help I need here. Hey, why were there no dirrection included in the packaging

I too, was frustrated when I couldn't remove the backing from the double sided tape. It was only after doing multiple searches on line that I navigated to this page, read through feedback and found the company's response directing to pull out the tape far enough to the point where the backing ends. Perhaps instead of giving directions on the back of the dispenser on how to refill the roll, you should note this issue instead?

Not amazing that there is likely a high return rate of this product. With English not visible on the protective film, it is not obvious how to use the stuff. I almost threw it out before going on line to find out how to use it. Why not put visual instructions on the dispenser card??? I would have given it 1 star before finding these instructions. I don't recommend this as it is now. C'mon 3M, you can do better than this.

I bought this tape and COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE IT without coming here...and I am an adult who can drive a car (a per one of the reviews). Once i read about throwing away the first 8 inches, which on my tape was not printed in English, smooth sailing. Simple instructions on the packaging would have saved me 20 minutes of trying to use the throw-away adhesive. The tape works great, once you can get to the tape!

I bought Scotch Double Sided Tape and could not get the backing off to use it. After I researched it on Scotch's website, I learned that the actual double sided tape starts beyond the beginning of the roll. I rolled it out and voila! I have the tape I thought I was purchasing. The packaging need more information but the product is very good.
