I have gaps and holes in the wall in my garage that is attached to the house. I was watching a house improvement tv show and they talked about sealing the gaps because it does effect the house. Our family room shares a wall. It is an older home so we do notice that room is warmer or colder plus fumes from snow blower or car seem to seep into the family room. Not much but you can notice it. I got this can of foam and sealed the gaps and cracks. Applying it you need to watch what you do so it is not blobs of stuff. it does solve the fume problem. I did have one hole in the wallboard, that I used this and patched so it is not just foam ball. Quick and easy stuff to work with.

Great Stuff Window & Door Insulating Foam Sealant was used to fill a new hole from the kitchen to the garage where a new water line had been installed. It was also used in the attic around two doors. It filled the areas that needed to be insulated and provided an ample barrier (to keep out heat and cold) to the rooms adjoining the attic doors. It was very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again.

While I know the main purpose of GREAT STUFF Insulating Foam is for windows and doors, I actually used it around some pipes that we had under a kitchen sink in some rental property. It really helped with the seal where the pipes were coming out of the wall and you could feel a small draft under the sink. After applying the foam sealant, which was beyond easy, the draft was gone. While it's not the prettiest looking sealant, it does work!

We used this to fill in some holes in our windows and it worked great, but when we tried to use it again for something else, the tube got clogged and we couldn't unclog it to use it again. So if you're going to use this product, it's only good for one time.

This product works great. I just got my house painted but the didn't patch the holes in the windows. So I thought this I a perfect time to try this product. And I'm so pleased with the results. I was able to fill the gaps and after it dryed I cut the excess away and then paint it. They look brand new.
