Great cup I l Love the ones with no kind of nipple they dont split and are easy for child
Epic fail for design, ease of cleaning, function and cost.
We just found this cup the other day and are very impressed with it! My son was born with bi-lateral cleft lip and palate and he has never been able to suck from a bottle, sippy cup, straw, ext. He has had a feeding tube his whole life (he's almost 4) and just started eating and drinking orally within the last year and we have always had to take the plugs out of sippy cups and just hoped that he wouldn't make a huge mess. Also when taking the plugs out of the other cups he still wasn't able to get much to drink. With this cup we have had great results! He is able to get a decent amount out of the cup at one time and doesn't make a mess! He is loving his new cup! And so are we! We plan to buy many more of these cups! Thank you for making such an amazing sippy cup!
I think this cup is a great idea. However, I have on son that has always had difficulty with eating and drinking and receives speech therapy. This seemed like a great next step to get away from sippy cups but the flow is to fast. He ends up dribbling it down the front of him. I really wish that there was a slower flow or 2 separate cups. Maybe a stage 1 and a stage 2 each with different flows???? Since, the flow is to fast for him it really isn't working out for us as he just makes a mess and wears whatever he is drinking.
I am a pediatric speech therapist working with children who have difficulty eating. I have used many "specialized therapy" cups. I happened across this cup and really love it! As with any new skill, adult supervision is needed. It doesn't take long for kiddos to figure out they can drip/dump the cup by pushing the center of the lid with their finger - but that can happen with a traditional sippy style cup as well - I find some initial consistent teaching that "cups are for drinking" and setting the cup out of reach solves the problem. I love that I can have families/clients purchase their own cup on a regular shopping trip rather than having to purchase an expensive cup from a medical supply company.
