ONE XL Automobile Navigator

I love my TomTom. With a job where I'll never know where I'll be traveling to next, it makes life much easier. Though the GPS isn't always perfect, it allows you to make corrections right then and there for next time you travel. I highly recommend it to anyone for all kinds of travel!

My husband drives everyday for his job. He is often in unfamiliar city locations and the Tom Tom has given him very accurate information. Like any navigational product, it's best to check your route on the device before you go anywhere and look at it a few different ways before you choose your final option. There are many ways to enter your information and it's best to be aware of that first. Otherwise, you might be disappointed to find that you spent five hours to get somewhere that should have only taken you three. Once you get used to the Tom Tom and figure out the best options, it is extremely useful.

This unit works very well, but I would have liked to see written instructions instead of going to TomTom's website to find them and read them. However TomTom's customer service was GREAT! the gentlemen I spoke to was very knowegeable and was very helpful to me.

After reviewing several GPS systems I choose the TomTom One XL. This is a very easy unit to use. All I had to do was take it out of the box and plug it in. The screen is large enough to see from the driver or passenger seat. There are some points of intrests that are not included however. An example is our local hospital which has been in the same place for 30+ years is not listed but the new medical clinic built < 5 years ago is. This unit is very easy to use. Software included was very user friendly. Glad to know I can download map updates to the unit. Being a Sr. adult I will feel secure in arriving at my destination without getting lost. I highly reccommend this GPS.

The product works right out of the box. I recommend updating the unit via the internet before you start traveling to get the current features and corrections. After the updates, you'll enjoy it even more. This is my first gps unit and I recommend it strongly!
