Garmin Map Update 2008 North America - Map/application update

Garmin made it easy to select the correct 2008 Update for my GPS System. The Garmin 2008 Update was easy to install and came with instructions that were easy to follow even for someone who has limited computer experience. I highly recomment this product update and the Garmin GPS System.

I was very happy to find this map update on this website at a very nice price. I received it in the time frame stated and had it installed in my GPS ninety minutes later. Thank you for the good service. I used my GPS over the weekend and it worked great.

This is a very good product. My husband is navigationally impaired and rarely goes anywhere without his "Lucy" (yeah, he named it, too). Since we downloaded the newer version, I've noticed it will usually choose a path that I would take, whereas the original version chose paths that seemed to take a little bit longer. My only complaint about his Garmin is the "voice" it uses. I can't stand it but my husband loves it. Since he's the one who uses it, that's great. (I've told him if I'm driving, he'd better not turn the sound on).

The product works like advertised. But in our home town a BBQ buisness opened about a year ago and it did not show up in the 2008 release. I wonder how many others are missing. But overall I think the program loaded without problems and works very good.

i ordered this update hoping to find some friends homes and new roads. after downloaded the update i took a ride, to my suprise i got lost. because your update did not have their subdivision in it. i paid good money to not get lost, your update sinks. i would like an explanation.
