DC Super Friends 15 Superman Plush Toy

My kids have recently fallen in love with everything Batman related, and have received all sorts of batman toys for Christmas and January birthday. Despite negative reviews, and at the insistence of our 4yo, we purchased this for his birthday. Big mistake. The first one (after changing batteries) worked for about a day before it would no longer drive. Started making grinding noise, but wouldn't move. Returned to store for replacement. Got home with replacement - drives fine (at the moment), but does not make revving noise!! I foresee another return to the store!! Kids love it, but it just doesn't work properly.

This is one heck of a batmobile. It really reminded me of the Tim Burton 1989 style batmobile. Maybe I was partial since that movie really had an impact on me as a kid. This is a great toy highly recommend for any child or even collector (wink-wink).

My son loves the batmobile. He turns the key and races it across the floor or table. He and I will sit and send it back and forth to each other. It has good sounds too. The only gripe I have is that it burns batteries quick but so does every other toy we have so that is expected I guess with lots of use.

On Christmas morning, we had the same problem as other reviewers. We turned the key and got engine sounds but the wheels would not spin. My family was was ready to box it up and return it until I suggested they put it on the floor. Sure enough, if you turn the key on the floor, it zooms off. If you hold it in your hand, it the wheels won't spin. My 2 year old son loves it and after showing him that when you turn the key on the floor, it zooms off, he picked it up right away. It even runs on carpet!

Brand new out of the box it was awesome. Turn the key and it would drive along the floor for 30 feet. Me on one end, and my 4 year oldson on the other. Couple days later, the only thing it would do is the sound effects. He still plays with it a lot. It looks cool and the engine revs. The fact that the motor doesn't work anymore bothers me more than it does him... especially when I'm the one that paid for it.
