I recently got the digital converter box and purchased this antenna to go along with it. I was surprised with the quality of the picture and sound that this antenna pulls in. I definitely would recommend this antenna for use with the converter box on any TV. I went from being able to receive about 15 channels with the rabbit ears in good weather to 39.

This is an OK indoor antennae. I should be able to get all the basic channels based on where I live, but I'm really only able to get a local CBS channel. This is fine because it's the main reason I purchased the antennae. CBS was pulled from Time Warner's lineup because they are fighting over money. Just be prepared to have a long cable so you can play around with different positions in your house. The long antennaes with this model are a plus along with the UHF/VHF gain knobs that can help boost the signal. If you really on an antennae for all channels, then spend more on an outdoor antennae to mount outside on your porch/rail/etc.

This antenna is so bad that I returned it back and then bought the old style "rabbit ears" antenna and it works better!!! It was hard to tune the VHF and UHF.

I bought this antenna would work well with my HDTV and help receive the few stations within my reach. It actually under performed the Analog Antenna. Fuzzy reception was the problem with analog. NO reception was what I got with this product. The amplifier didn't detect any stations. Also, the RG59 coaxial cable failed to fit on the digital converter box I was using to receive these stations with my HD tv. Found this product useless for straight connections or through digital converter boxes.

I purchased this item after purchasing my tv converter box with the hope of improving the reception on my tv. After connecting it, not only did I not get an improved picture, but the sound was terrible. I do recommend this antenna for use with a tv converter box. :-(
