Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock - Mac & PC - Game with Guitar bundle Brand new

An overall great game! I bought this because my son won't get off the X-Box, and it would be greatto travel with my laptop. Be aware that at least 128 mb graphics is needed for good performance. There is a patch available for reducing graphics needed, and that works fine.

Before I bought this product, I read the previous comments. I DID have to buy a game card (Radeon 2600 pci express) in order to play. After that was figured and installed, the game works GREAT! The only problem I have with it is the lag. If I calibrate it EVERYTIME BEFORE I PLAY, then I dont have a problem with it. Other than that the game is worth it and fun.

very fun. Background graphics are awsome for a game that is about music. Gives others something to look at while you're rocking! Need a fast computer, however. Do not think you can use this with a Pentium IV. Core Duo and up with lots of memory and a good graphics card are a must. This game is all about timing. If your computer has anything else to do while playing; you will not have a good experience. Would like Downloadable Content sometime soon!

Its just like the Guitar Hero for all the other systems. Just make sure your computer can handle the graphics. Mine handles it fine with the occational lag if im running another program, but I am running it on a new Dell XPS built for gaming. If you have an older computer double check your system if it can handle the requirements.

Using the PC with GH III on a High-Def TV really rocks. Better display than the lower res versions you'll get from consoles and great play. Added bonus, the guitar controller also works with Frets on Fire, a open-source freeware game very similar to GH, with hundreds of songs available.
